international day was a day to celerbrate all cultures (dr kings dream will only if young people understood

international day was a very exiciting day in every student’s life, the atmosphere in the quad was unexplainable there was a chinsese  styled dragon dance walking around the school just like it was in hong kong or china , there was also market  all around the school every coner every pathway was filled with smell of the tasty food for sale ,(unfortunately i didn’t try any because the line was too long in any shops).

we started  the journey at A block,A block contains 2 shops  the coolest  japanese store and the beautifuly decorated french store .

MY Favorite is B block(because that’s my role call class is in B block)because it’s one of  the first block in the school i’ve been to and also because it contain’s the largest shops in the school international day the shop of the hitlers the undefeatable germans and also we can’t forget the italianos the store of  italy .

in the canteen area was the the store of USA the Americans with the most popular food in america the [HOT] dog.

D block was the land of the indains who perform awfully well in the performance in the hall and their best food was considered by [Eric chan ]  the curried chicken wings (considered by me {the harmful curry chicken})

also there a middle east shop in e block also it’s worth a while to have some food there.

in front of the libary there’s a chinese store which contains the best food in the school(you can smell the smell of spring rolls from inside the libary .)

hongkong and tiwan group is in E block[the hongkong and tiwan group has been farly embarised in the performance (no where near jay chou )]but they managed to make up for it by their tasty foods.

 on the quad there’s lot’s more sotes like korean ,swissland ,greek etc.

yr7 area is filled with joy  because the aussie store is in the yr 7 area they have lot’s of items or sale jellerys ,pies ,BBQ,etc .

chinese-their shop was decorated like a troditional chinese corner shop which didn’t sell sweet’s ,lollies and soft drinks  like the austalian corner shop but they sold fried rice ,huntons,nomigay,fied noodle,meat on stick and also soft drinks .

japanese-they japanese store this year is totally different because they didn’t just sell sushi like every year but instead of sushi they sold pancake which was unexpected  .their store was decorated beautifully with a live BBq next to their main storeand with the wounderful decoration their store is the perfect store for shopper to buy great quality food.

korean-when speaking of korean you will often think of bulgogi ,which was  sold in the korean store only.(their store has the most food sold)

italians-the italian has the most wounderful pastas in the school ,this small storedecorated with flags

The Federal Opposition Leader has hit the radio airwaves to defend his formal reply to the federal Budget. 

In his speech last night, Kim Beazley promised new childcare centres at primary schools, free training for childcare workers, and faster broadband Internet connections.

Some of his colleagues have praised Mr Beazley’s efforts, saying he has passed a crucial leadership test.

But the Government says the speech was full of glib lines and lacked substance.

Mr Beazley says he wanted to target “middle Australia”.

“People on middle-incomes, the people with families, the people who have the problems with childcare, who worry about whether their kids get skilled, worried about their own skills, worried about their mortgages, worried about the petrol prices,” Mr Beazley said.

“That’s middle Australia.”

Future Fund

 

The Nationals have accused Mr Beazley of wanting to raid the $2 billion Future Fund that is earmarked for improving rural communications.

The fund was created as part of the decision to fully privatise Telstra.

Last night, Mr Beazley said Labor would use money from the fund to help build a broadband information super-highway.

The Nationals’ leader in the Senate, Ron Boswell, says Mr Beazley’s plan would hurt the bush.

“The one thing that really got me upset was when he started to hijack the money that we won, and hard fought, to take our Future Fund away from us before he is even in government,” Senator Boswell.

But Mr Beazley says he makes no apologies his plan.

He says delivering high speed Internet access will benefit everyone.

“All of this money has been packaged up and effectively delivered to the National party,” he said.

“Worthy bits and pieces are done here and there when in fact a simple deal with the people who are telecommunications providers in this country would actually offer a solution for everyone.”
